Gratitude
Kindness and love. For every acts of such that we receive, we feel a certain sense of gratitude. A sense of willingness to give something in kind, to grant a special favor or any equivalent. Sometimes, we owe them to our friends, our neighbors, and sometimes to our family. Very rare are those people who do not have a sense of gratitude to anyone.
How is this possible? Well this is just an assumption based on certain experiences.
1) "Life is not fair". There are people who have while some don't as well as there are those who can while others cannot. After all, we cannot give what we don't have. Most often than not, the need is pressing that it has become unavoidable to ask for certain things from others. In as much as we want to preserve our pride, our scarcity could not prevent us from doing so specially if its no longer about ourselves anymore (like if its about our loved ones or someone we care about so much). Either we borrow or we seek help from those who have and are capable. Things happen for a reason, I believe that God has wants us to realize that we need to co-exist and to acknowledge that our gifts and blessings should be used for our mutual benefits and not for some abusive/ hurtful reasons.
2) We make mistakes and it's already too late to correct them. As human beings we are entitled to our individual wrong doings. There are even times in our lives that we neglect the advices and warnings around us. All we care about is how we feel and what we believe. In the latter part of our lives, we just realize that others have moved forward and we were many steps behind. This is the moment when we begin to approach those people who gave us the advices and the warning, the people who we think cares for us. We reflect and we begin to swallow our pride to ask for forgiveness and help. And God again has a purpose. He wants to teach us humility and forgiveness and not arrogance and keeping grudges.
